City Treasurer issues list of unclaimed checks

Salem’s City Treasurer’s office has released the most recent list of unclaimed checks at www.salem.com/unclaimedfunds. According to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 200A Section 5, funds are presumed abandoned unless claimed by the person entitled to them within three years after the date prescribed for payment.

If your name appears on the list at www.salem.com/unclaimedfunds, submit a claim form by March 31, 2023 to the Treasurer’s office (98 Washington Street, 3rd floor, Salem MA 01970). Claim forms are also available at www.salem.com/unclaimedfunds.

We will have several guest speakers, discuss neighborhood business and vote on our slate of officers.

Reminder: While anyone is welcome to attend and become an associate member, voting membership is only open to residents of Federal Street and its side streets within North, Essex, Bridge and Boston streets. Only paid-up members are eligible to vote. Checks made out to “FSNA” may be delivered to 20 Beckford Street, $15/individual, $20/family. Please use the form included with our flyer and pay by March 25!
